Shooting with a bow and arrow has been closely linked to people for thousands of years, and especially in the age of computers and electronics, many people are looking for a connection to the original, to movement in nature, to instinct. Those who want to prove their accuracy can do so on the nearby 3D course of the Sportunion St. Veit/archery section. Guided tours for beginners are also offered there.
Climb
Climbing adventures in the midst of nature are also available in Defereggental. There are two climbing gardens with routes of different levels of difficulty. For families, Walu’s climbing world offers a special kind of climbing experience between the treetops. The high ropes course is uniquely situated next to the water playground, right in the center of St. Jakob.

The Defereggental Golf Park in St. Veit lies in the midst of the beautiful nature of the Defereggental, surrounded by numerous imposing mountain peaks. The exceptional 9-hole par 3 golf course offers the best training conditions for golfers of all skill levels with open and covered teeing grounds, the large practice green and the chipping area. Beginners can get the license to play here in just five days, with the best supervision.
